Solve.Care Foundation has partnered with HMS TECHNOLOGIES, INC to broaden its health information technologies portfolio and enhance client services within the U.S. Federal Sector.
As part of this partnership, HMS will include Solve.Care’s blockchain healthcare platform into their new federal health information technology (HIT) initiatives, with a focus on reducing government healthcare costs and broadening interoperability and accessibility.
HMS TECHNOLOGIES, INC has been providing HIT services to the US Federal Government for fifteen years. The company is one of only two prime contractors on the nationwide VA Home Telehealth program and the prime contractor on the nationwide VA Rural Health program. HMS has performed HIT services for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other Federal Government agencies.
Solve.Care has an innovative benefit administration blockchain platform that redefines the relationship between patient and provider. It is currently being adopted by commercial insurance companies, accountable care organizations, and now, through HMS, US federal government agencies.
“HMS TECHNOLOGIES is a proven leader in delivering HIT services to the US federal government. They hold themselves to a high standard of integrity and execution. Their long history of success speaks volumes and is exactly the type of partner we want to collaborate with. We are pleased to give HMS access to the full strength of our platform to deliver clear value and measurable ROI to their clients,” said Pradeep Goel, CEO & Founder of Solve.Care Foundation.
The two companies have objectives and projects that align. When paired, HMS’s telehealth program and Solve.Care’s platform, for example, can deliver better value to clients. Solve.Care will also work with HMS to reduce fraud, waste and abuse in government programs.
Bill Kirkpatrick, CEO of HMS TECHNOLOGIES. elaborated, saying “We intend to employ the world’s most established blockchain healthcare platform to enable disparate healthcare information technology (HIT) applications to share secured health data via patient authorized access using unsecured Internet connectivity, improving care coordination while enhancing digital healthcare profiles and streamlining access to virtual healthcare services. HMS TECHNOLOGIES is underway with an expansion of our Federal HIT footprint by leveraging the trust earned from our lauded federal past performance to promote innovative and cost-saving designs amongst our federal clients. Our Solve.Care partnership helps us realize our blockchain healthcare design efforts by employing their established platform and tapping into their worldwide expertise as one of the most mature and full-featured healthcare blockchain platforms in today’s market.”
