(Delaware, Maryland – Apr. 26) – Arizona Care Network won a NAACOS Innovation Award for their implementation of Solve.Care Care.Wallet for Physicians. They received the award on April 25th at the 2019 National Association of Accountable Care Organizations (NAACOS) Spring Conference.
Solve.Care blockchain platform is helping Arizona Care Network monitor and improve care provider performance and focus providers on the metrics that matter most. As a result, providers can more efficiently administrate and coordinate healthcare processes, improving population health.
Solve.Care’s application Care.Wallet for Physicians has been used by Arizona Care Network to provide incentives and value-based payments to providers in the form of digital currency. ACN’s use of Solve.Care platform is the first case in history where blockchain technology and a digital token are being used by a healthcare network.
Arizona Care Network, one of the largest ACOs in the US, adopted Solve.Care platform in March of 2018 and exceeded over 80% usage of Care.Wallet for Physicians by December.
ACN and Solve.Care plan to expand the Care.Wallet to healthcare consumers with a version that automatically synchronizes benefits information, including deductibles and co-pays, along with co-insurance and out-of-pocket expenses for ACN’s nearly 300,000 patient members. The goal is for patients to use Care.Card applications to receive immediate authorizations, schedule appointments with physicians, use pre-paid transportation to select network groups and facilities and share accurate benefits information.
