Solve.Care Establishes New Office in South Korea: Strengthens Presence in APAC Market

Focus on developing and strengthening local partnerships with Korean companies and organizations in the healthcare and tech industry the main priority

Seoul, South Korea – 11 March, 2021 – Solve.Care, the global healthcare technology company that leverages blockchain technology to redefine the healthcare industry, today announced that it is strengthening its presence in the country with the establishment of Solve.Care Korea. The office is located in the center of the Gangnam Business District. With offices already in Europe, North America and Asia, the Seoul office marks the third country in Asia where Solve.Care has established operations.

Established in 2017, Solve.Care has quickly expanded its global footprint and launched several healthcare networks (Care Networks) on its blockchain platform. These Care Networks are decentralized patient-centric ecosystems which deliver healthcare services based upon specific needs such as medical, economic and/or social conditions. Examples of successfully launched Care Networks include a Diabetes Care Network (DCAN) for pharmaceutical giant, Boehringer Ingelheim, a Provider Rewards Program (PRP) for 5,500 physicians of Arizona Care Network and Team.Care Network for Employers, a workforce engagement solution for the well-being of employees with a COVID-19 reporting functionality.

Along with today’s announcement, Solve.Care Korea also introduced its newest hire, Onsoo Kim, Community and Partnership Manager. Kim will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing partnerships with Korean businesses, manufacturers, and healthcare facilities to further expand its business activities in the country. In addition, Kim will also act as a direct conduit to the company for the large Solve.Care Korean Community in the country, and promote the Solve.Care brand and its value proposition in the country.

Pradeep Goel, CEO of Solve.Care, said, “The opening of our new Korean office is a clear statement of how important the Korean market is to Solve.Care. It is home to the world’s leading tech and IT companies, and it is vital that we are physically here to build these partnerships and to leverage blockchain for the healthcare market. Compared to the rest of the world, Korea is further along in its recovery phase. Coupled with COVID vaccinations already started rolling out in the country, the time is right in implementing our expansion plans for the Korean market. I look forward to coming back to the country again once travel restrictions have been lifted to directly connect with Solve.Care Korean community which has given us so much support over the years.”
